Please note: Our online payment system is down for the weekend (October 13 -16) as we switch systems. Thank you for your patience.
Join our amazing team of volunteers who help create safer streets and healthier, more vibrant communities in Windsor and Essex County.
Volunteering with us is fun and rewarding. Some of the opportunities we have for 2017 include:
- Helping run our free bike parking valets at special events like Art-in-the-Park, CornFest and others,
- Hanging out at events like Earth Day, Open Streets, the Downtown Farmers Market with other cycling advocates where we chat with cyclists about safety and rules of the road and give away bike maps and other cycling related information,
- Helping out with our website, data management, membership management, and
- Participating in our wrench-up and cycle smart classes at a special rate as well as a deal to use our DIY wrenching space.
How to Get Started:
If volunteering with us sounds like an opportunity you’d like to explore, join us for our first volunteer orientation and training session of 2017 on April 4! Let us know you’ll be there by filling out this form. We hope all our volunteers want to join us. Not a member? JOIN NOW or learn more at the orientation session.
*NEW! We are offering a barter-for-membership program to people who identify as low income. If your financial situation makes joining at $20 (or $15 if you’re a student) per year prohibitive to you becoming a member, please mention this to our team when getting in touch to work out a membership in exchange for volunteer hours.
How do I know if I’m volunteer material?
Do you want to share your love of cycling with others? Are you excited about meeting new friends, and working with other Windsor and Essex County cyclists to support safer streets? If this sounds like you, let us know! Fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up Form here.
