17 Sep Wrench-Up Classes are Back!
We’re excited to announce that we are finally resuming our basic bike repair classes. Our first two-day session of Wrench-Up takes place September 26-27. Over two three-hour sessions, we will teach basic mechanical principles and safety checks for bikes, basic brake repair, basic gear repair, and how to fix a flat tire.
When: September 26th-27th, 2pm-5pm each day.
Where: The Bike Kitchen, 628 Monmouth Road, Windsor, ON
What: Wrench-Up is a two-part course that covers basic bike repair and maintenance, including basic mechanical principles and safety checks for bikes, basic brake repair, basic gear repair, and how to fix a flat tire.
Cost: $45 for the two-day course, or $75 which includes a basic tool kit (bike pump, multitool, tire levers, patch kit, cycling handbook, and BWE pouch – $50 value!)
Social distancing and sanitizing of shared tools/surfaces will be in place, and all participants must wear a mask at all times. We will not be providing masks, so please remember to bring your own.
Spaces are limited in order to facilitate social distancing during the course. We are committed to making space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour), LGBTQ* (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Trans/Queer and Questioning/etc.), and other visible minorities in our community. If you identify with any of these groups, you are welcome to self-identify when registering.
