It was a chilly day for September but the sun shone so that didn’t keep cyclists from participating in Phog Phest 6 and Bicycle Scavenger Hunt. Teams of ‘cycling scavengers’ rolled in to our pop-up bike valet to check off that at least one member of each team was a card carrying Bike Friendly member.
Throughout the afternoon and evening Bike Friendly volunteers parked bikes for grateful PhogPhest goers – 14 hours of bike valet service!
Big shout out to our volunteers Christina Benneian, David Johnston, Shaya Motamed, Marie Merschback, Darren Winger, Oliver Swainson, Veronica Samek, and Lori Newton.
Christina also hand made our charming valet tags, peg board and sandwich board so we looked like we knew what we were doing.
