We posted last month about Bill 100, which would require a one-metre paved shoulder to be added whenever a secondary highway is repaved.
Our friends over at Share The Road – Essex County have sent us a petition that you can sign to support the bill, or you can send an email, including your full name and address, over to Norm Miller at norm.millerco@pc.ola.org with the following wording:
“I am petitioning the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows: that Norm Miller’s Private Member’s Bill 100, which requires a one metre paved shoulder on designated highways, receives swift passage through the legislature.”
In order for a private member’s bill to become law, it requires unanimous consent. So if you support this bill, send an email over to Norm Miller, and one to your MP too!
