More comments on the 3-foot-passing law

I came across a post by local blogger Chris Schurr about the 3-foot-passing law and the related Star editorial.

Increased public education of both cyclists and motorists as well allocating resources to municipalities to properly design city streets to accommodate cyclists would go much further in my opinion.

However, what the NDP has successfully done is bring this issue to the forefront because with both an aging population as well as the increasing costs of both owning and operating a vehicle – I believe cycling in North American cities will gradually become a more popular option for many.
