I was saddened to hear about the passing of longtime cycling advocate Vic Carman. I met Vic a few times when sitting in on Windsor Bicycling Committee meetings. Vic was a member of the Windsor Bicycling Committee until quite recently, and often had stories to tell about his days of cycling.
Vic passed on May 3rd 2011, at 90 years of age. An obituary is located on legacy.ca, and a service will be held tomorrow, May 8th at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #143 (Old Air Force Club), 1570 Marentette Ave (Windsor).
