Ride of Silence a Success!

I just wanted to thank everyone again for coming out last night to the Ride of Silence. Despite the gloomy (but appropriate) weather, and the many other important cycling events going on at the same time, we had over 85 riders join us!

A HUGE thanks goes out to the Peters family from Leamington for joining us, the Windsor Downtown Mission for co-hosting the event with us, the Windsor Police for escorting us, Dignity Funeral Homes for the hearse and the water bottles, to Vicky Rose for driving the SAG wagon, to the bike paramedics and all the ride marshals, and all the participants!

Here’s a video I shot of us riding down Parent and onto Tecumseh Road. It’s a bumpy ride, so forgive me for the unsteadiness. All you can hear is the wind… it was indeed a ride of silence.
