Round 2 of the Aviva Community Fund starts tomorrow, October 24.
The Essex To Amherstburg Greenway Trail has received the most votes of any idea from the Windsor/Essex area, and is in the top 10% of ideas in the “Large budget” category.
The idea, championed by the Essex Region Conservation Authority and the and the Essex Region Conservation Foundation, is to turn 22 kilometres of abandoned rail-trail into a multi-use recreational path similar to the Chrysler Greenway (which it would connect to).
ERCA needs your votes daily to make this idea into reality. Each round, the top 10 ideas in each category are selected to compete in the semi-finals. This idea was in the top 30 in its category, so we only need a little more support!
