County Wide Active Transportation Study (CWATS) Open Houses

Last winter the County of Essex started their County Wide Active Transportation Study (CWATS). The study is now entering its final stage and they are looking for your feedback at open houses on September 25th, 26th, and 27th. The draft active transportation network for the county will be available for viewing at these open houses, and members of the study team will be there to answer questions and to discuss the information on display.

The draft Master Plan report is designed to create an active transportation network of “on-road corridors and off-road trails” and also to create connections between the local regional systems.

The open houses will take place:

Ruthven Apple Festival, Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens, Road 3 East, Ruthven Saturday, Sept. 25th (10am-6pm)
Sunday, Sept. 26th (10am-5pm)
