Essex OPP are asking looking for the driver of a light-coloured pick up truck (possibly grey or white) after a hit-and-run incident yesterday. A sixteen year old cyclist was riding southbound on county road 22 when he was struck by the truck. The cyclist was thrown from his bike and landed on the side of the road, and suffered a broken collar bone.
The truck will likely have damage to the right front end, and possibly the right hand side. If you see a vehicle that matches this description, or have any information, please contact the Essex OPP or Crime Stoppers.
