Locked inside a house with an activated alarm system.

Another example of the fact that thieves will steal a bike from anywhere – inside a car, garage, or in your house. If you have a bike you want to keep, I suggest keeping it locked up even indoors (although, if an alarm system doesn’t stop the thief, a bike lock probably won’t either).
