In the 2010 municipal elections, Bike Friendly Windsor launched the “Vote Bike” program. For the upcoming 2011 provincial elections, Bike Friendly Windsor is asking candidates and cyclists to take the Active Communities Pledge.
The Active Communities Pledge was launched by the Share The Road Cycling Coalition at the recent Ontario Bike Summit. The pledge asks candidates to do more to fund active transportation infrastructure in Ontario
