Work is soon due to start on an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) for the City of Windsor. This plan will define the future of cycling (as well as walking and transit) in Windsor. It is essential that the cycling community speak up during the community consultation phase and identify what will make Windsor a great, and safe, place for cyclists.
Bike Windsor Essex is working on preparing the latest Windsor data, research and information to provide to the ATP consultant. We have done surveys, rated bike lanes, created maps of planned infrastructure and compiled statistics.
