It seems the cyclist was sideswiped by the SUV? Since it says the rear-view mirror was collapsed… I wonder if the cyclist was taking a whole lane, or closer to the curb.

Sounds like the cyclist got hit with the mirror, and the driver may not have event realized it.
Strange they say rear view mirror. I guess they mean side view mirror since the rear view mirror is inside the car. They didn’t say where on Tecumseh this happened too only that it was in Tecumseh. Details, details…
Glad the cyclist wasn’t injured though.
