Why Join? Bike Windsor Essex is a member-supported grassroots organization that advocates for a healthy, safe, cycling-friendly region for all.
The more members we have, the greater the influence we hold at City Hall. Member dues provide us with a vital source of funding for our advocacy and outreach. Ways to Join: First time member? Starting at only $15, choose the level that’s right for you. Monthly, Annually, or in person at one of our community events including our ‘First Tuesday’ Community Meet-ups – the first Tuesday of every month at revolving local pubs. Watch our Facebook page or website for location updates.
Really serious about supporting the work we do? Consider a monthly payment for as little as $5 a month.
Walkerville Buskerfest is August 12-14 and we plan on creating a bike valet parking area with the help of City Cyclery, Refine Fitness and others. The annual Glow Ride will be there to promote their bike night event the following weekend.
I’m already a member, paid my yearly dues – but seem to be missing some events, and some last minute cancellations , only connected thru occasional emails, and – since there is no central phone # for your organization – and I want to avoid any more long trips from my home in Kingsville in vain….can you tell me how to be sure I’m included in your Facebook postings? Hi Craig, emailed you yesterday. Sorry about the cancelled class, we’ve offered you a credit to help make up for your effort and time. Facebook decides who sees our posts, totally out of our hands though if you interact with the page – like posts, make comments, etc. – there is much more likelihood that Facebook will ‘serve’ you our posts. And fyi, we post something interesting almost every day.
