Survey for Female Cyclists

The Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals has launched a web-based survey to determine which factors motivate women to ride.

It has been shown that women are less likely to engage in risky behaviour as men. “Men of all ages are more willing to risk their necks on bicycles than women are”, according to Linda Baker, author of a study published in Scientific American.

So this survey is attempting to find out how to increase cycling by increasing the number of women cyclists.

Women are encouraged to take the 15 minute survey, and to share it with their female friends.
